Participant Reviews

The trauma training offered by Vitae was the most relevant training I have done in several years. Sandra Johnston was able to extend my knowledge and hone my skills through a good balance of information sharing and role play.

Sandra is a humble expert with a vast theoretical and practical experience on which to base her presentation. Well worth the 2 day investment.

I attended the Advanced group Crisis Intervention course earlier this year and experienced clear teaching from a knowledgeable presenter with marvellous time management skills and a sense of humour. The course ranged from interesting to downright fascinating and I really appreciated the opportunities to take part in exercises that challenged me to put theory into practice. Well worth attending!

I attended the ACGI course in March 2012 which was run by the International CISM trainer. The content covered was largely a refresher for me having done many CI’s already, however, it did broaden my understanding of why we respond to call outs as we do and why what we do works. I did get a chance to practice responding to scenarios where large groups were impacted by an event. The content covered and the course materials provided were excellent. Overall the training was invaluable and has improved I believe my ability to meet the needs of our CI clients.
