In addition to the work at the Grief Centre, Valerie also does face-to-face counselling for Youthline. Her clients vary in age (from teenagers to over 60s), gender and nationality. Valerie's empathy for others, counselling skills and personal qualities of genuineness, gentleness and compassion enable her to establish empathetic relationships and work effectively with clients of all backgrounds.
