Over the past 22 years AJ has built her career in the social services sector, specialising in addictions, youth work and education. She has worked across the sector from grass roots to national organisations. AJ is an excellent listener and commits to being fully present in her sessions. She considers it a privilege to work with some of the most vulnerable people within our communities and for them to trust her with their stories. AJ has taken this same approach into external supervision which she has been providing since 2015 when she was trained in bicultural supervision/kaitiakitanga at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. Carol originally trained as a Montessori teacher then went on to study nursing, working primarily in mental health - during which time she did the dual-diagnosis training. Training as a counsellor saw Carol working for over 10 years in tertiary institutions and relieving as a school counsellor, as well as working in private practice for over 15 years.

Gill has worked as a clinical supervisor since the 1990s and has a strengths-based, collaborative approach to supervision practice. In supervision, Gill will work alongside you with a focus on the best interests of the tangata whai ora you serve. Gill and the supervisee will create an agreement together to ensure clear roles and responsibilities, and provide a robust platform for supporting best practice, celebrating successes and finding creative solutions for the challenges of our mahi. Gill is committed to her ongoing journey developing a bicultural approach to life, work and supervision practice. Her supervision services are available for anyone working with people. This includes managers, other supervisors and front line workers in a range of professions from health, education, health improvement practitioners, matanga whai ora, social services, youth workers, pastors, volunteers, and allied health workers. Appointments are often in-person in her office in Palmerston North but can easily be in your work place or adapted to suit you, including video/Zoom supervision and/or phone consults.
