Starting his journey as a volunteer for a suicide crisis-line, David studied psychology, counselling and Te Reo Māori - and besides becoming a registered counsellor, David is now a qualified supervisor who has experience working with organisations providing supervision and psychoeducation so that their employees can better respond to the stressors related to their jobs.
The reflective learning and seven-eyed models of supervision inform a lot of his approach, though he work pluralistically - drawing upon the most effective tools for the situation being discussed. David is affirmative of all abilities, ethnicities, spiritual beliefs, genders, sexualities and other identities that clients may embody.

Deborah has worked alongside children, adolescents, adults and families for over 30 years in primary, intermediate, high schools, special education, alternative education, residential settings, healthcare, palliative care and private practice. She is experienced providing supervision in a range of settings.
Deborah’s practice and supervision style follows in the tradition of person-centered therapy. Her intention is to create a confidential, respectful and collaborative space where aspects of your life and emotional experiencing can be attended to and explored gently in a supportive way using talk therapy and/or a creative lens. Through authentic and supportive relationship capacity to manage everyday life, notice, explore and develop deeper awareness and curiosity of the self is developed. Deborah believes that approaching ourselves and others with reflection, curiosity and compassion leads to deeper understanding and growth.
